As part of each academic pathway, students will take courses to meet Jones College’s general education core requirements and electives as determined by the student under advisement with a faculty advisor. To streamline the transfer of credit from Jones College to any university in the State of Mississippi, Jones College Board participates in the articulation agreement between the Mississippi Community College Board and the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning.  For the purpose of ensuring transfer-ability within Mississippi, the Mississippi Articulation Transfer Tool (MATT) shall be used to advise and guide students in choosing the best courses to take as part of the requirements to graduate from Jones College with an associate degree.

Students are encouraged to also research the curriculum for their desired degree program at their university of choice as well as the course credits that are transferable from Jones College.
