Fundamental instruction on safety, rules and regulations, driving practices, air brakes, hazardous materials, and emergencies. Includes instruction and practice in performing vehicle inspections, coupling and uncoupling, maneuvering, backing, and driving a tractor trailer truck under varying road and climate conditions.
