NUR 2129 - Maternal-Child Nursing Liberal Arts
Class Hours: 5 class hours per week and 12 clinical hours per week. Semester Credit Hours: 9
This course emphasizes the study and safe, effective, patient-centered care of the individual in the childbearing cycle, the neonate, and the child from infancy through adolescence. Health alterations of the individual in the childbearing cycle, the neonate, and the child are examined. Concepts of growth and development and appropriate communication techniques are further explored and integrated into the nursing process.
